Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The audio is read and cleaned by your browser; the AI model is downloaded once from our site and then stays saved. The file never leaves your device.
Which noises can it remove?
Steady or random background noise: wind, traffic, air conditioners, fans, electrical hum, people chatting, keyboards. It works on spoken voice: with a song or loud music underneath, the music is lowered too.
Does the voice change?
With “Normal” the voice stays natural. If the noise was very loud the voice may sound a little “dry”: in that case choose “A little”, which keeps some room sound.
Which files can I use and how long?
MP4, iPhone MOV and WebM videos, MP3, M4A, WAV and other audio formats your browser can read, up to 10 minutes on a computer and 5 on a phone. iPhone screen recordings with several audio tracks are fine: the one with the sound is used.
Does the downloaded video keep its quality?
The pictures are the original ones, recreated while the video plays; the audio becomes mono (the voice is in the centre). If you only need the audio, “Download the audio” is instant and lossless.
