Privacy

In short

Social Tool doesn't collect your files or your text. The tools run inside your browser: photos, videos and text are processed on your device and never sent to us or anyone else.

Accounts and cookies

No account is needed. The site uses no tracking cookies or ads, and fonts, scripts and software are hosted on our own site. The AI models are on our site too: the only possible exception is a backup for subtitles, described below.

The subtitles tool

To create subtitles, the first time your browser downloads an AI model from our site. Only if that download fails, as a backup, the same public file is downloaded from Hugging Face (huggingface.co), which sees the request but receives nothing from your videos: they are only processed on your device.

Technical data

Like any website, the hosting service logs technical data about visits (such as IP address and requested page) for security and operation. We don't use it to profile you.

Statistics

To understand which tools are used we collect anonymous, aggregate statistics: pages visited, tool used, whether the operation succeeded or failed, language. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and builds no profiles. File names, text and content are never sent.
