Remove the background from photos
AI cuts out people, products and pets. Then pick a new background and download.
Your photo stays on your device: nothing is uploadedIf the AI picked the wrong subject, choose “＋ Keep” and tap what you want to keep (for example the whole tree). With “－ Remove” tap the parts to leave out. The first time another 40 MB AI is downloaded.
If the AI removed too much or too little, choose Erase or Restore and brush over the photo with your finger or mouse.
The AI model (46 MB) is hosted on this site and downloads only the first time. PNG keeps the background transparent; JPG fills it with white.
How to use it
Whether it's a profile picture, a YouTube thumbnail or a product photo to sell, removing the background is often the first step. Here it's done by AI that runs inside your browser: your photo isn't uploaded, you don't need an account and there's no watermark. Then add a color, a gradient, a blurred background or another image.

- Wait a few seconds while the AI cuts out the subject. The first time, your browser downloads the model.
- Pick a background, add an outline or shadow, choose a format and download as PNG or JPG.
FAQ
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The cutout happens in your browser, on your device. The AI model itself is hosted on this site, so no outside service is involved.
Does it work with products and pets?
Yes. The model finds the main subject of the photo, whether it's a person, an object or an animal. Hair and fur may need a little touch-up with the brush.
How do I get a transparent background?
Choose “Transparent” and download as PNG. JPG doesn't support transparency, so it fills the background with white.
What is the sticker outline?
A colored border around the subject, like WhatsApp and Instagram stickers. You can choose its color and thickness.
